Locally known as the "Missing Piece of Paradise", WOOLGOOLGA - population 5920 Woopi (as it is affectionately know to the locals) is highly regarded for it's fine beaches, good surfing, varied fishing, and bush walks.
The community has been in existence for well over 100 years. Prior to white settlement, the area was inhabited by the indigenous people of the Kumbaingeri tribe. Indian Sikhs who have become the kings of all the farming within the Coffs Harbour
